In response to unprecedented shifts in the humanitarian landscape, including major crises, funding cuts, and a crisis of legitimacy,  HERE-Geneva has decided to make 2026 a year of strategic reflection rather than developing a traditional multi-year strategy.

This statement outlines our focus for the coming year around four objectives:

• Continuing to bridge the gap between policy and practice
• Setting Priorities in Relation to their Strategic Potential, including Expected Level of Influence
• Deepening Collaboration with Other Humanitarian Think-Tanks
• Exploring New Avenues for HERE-Geneva

This statement reflects our conviction that, even in turbulent times, we can remain true to our mission while adapting our methods and alliances.
